Don't miss this intimate & engaging solo performance of many of Harry Chapin’s beloved story-songs. Hear “Taxi,” “Cat’s in the Cradle,” “Flowers Are Red,” and many more. The songs, coupled with interesting backstories and little-known anecdotes, make for an unforgettable Harry Chapin experience.
Performed by Lou Antonucci, who has been on stage since the age of thirteen, this show is rooted in a lifelong devotion to storytelling through music, first sparked by The Beatles and later shaped by artists like James Taylor and Jim Croce.
Antonucci performs 75–100 shows annually across New England, earning a reputation for intimate, story-driven performances that feel more like conversations than concerts. His latest project, You, Me, & Harry – Celebrating the Music of Harry Chapin, blends live music and storytelling into a deeply personal experience, anchored by “Singing My Songs Alone,” a newly released piece built from previously unpublished words by Chapin and created with permission from the Chapin Estate. The result is more than a tribute—it’s a meaningful connection to the songs, the stories behind them, and the legacy they continue to carry.
Harry Chapin believed "to act is to make a difference.“ You, Me, & Harry is more than a tribute to Harry’s music - it’s part of a movement to continue his lifelong fight against hunger. Join us in supporting WhyHunger, the organization Harry co-founded in 1975 to empower communities and solve poverty at its roots. Donations to WhyHunger will be accepted at this show!
