PINE GROVE MILLS, Pa.—Pine Grove Hall is one of just 500 small businesses in the country to receive $10,000 from American Express and Main Street America Backing Small Businesses Enhancement Grant Program.

“We are thrilled to have been selected for this grant,” said Liz Grove, owner of Pine Grove Hall. “We want to continue to offer beautiful space, locally sourced food and live entertainment for our community going forward, and these funds help us with the cost of an event we’re hosting in August.”

Grove explained that the funds will be used to purchase an outdoor shade tent, portable stage and other items.

“It’s just so important that small businesses continue to engage their communities in any way they can,” she added. “Locally-owned restaurants are critical to thriving communities and the costs associated with them continue to climb. We are really grateful for this grant to help us expand what we do.”
