With keenly observant lyrics and a compelling blend of dynamic guitar and piano work, Chicago-based singer-songwriter Joe Gorka is quickly carving out a name in the Midwest music scene. He’s performed at beloved Chicago venues including Schubas Tavern, City Winery Chicago, and Uncommon Ground, along with appearances at festivals and listening rooms across the region.

In 2025, Gorka released his debut solo acoustic EP Evergreen and gained national attention as a selected artist for the Emerging Artist Showcase at the Falcon Ridge Folk Festival. By 2026, he’s expanded his reach with performances at respected listening rooms like Godfrey Daniels and Club Passim, while completing work on his debut full-length album. The first single from that project, “The Siren Song,” is out now, signaling a strong next chapter for this rising artist.
