Eric Scott Trio
— —
We first met Eric Scott when he took the Pine Grove Hall stage this past summer as the bassist for the Deanna Bogart Band. We quickly learned that Eric is also an influential bandleader in his own right — and we’re thrilled to welcome the Eric Scott Trio for their debut trio performance at Pine Grove Hall tonight.
A Washington, D.C.–based soul/pop artist and bassist, Eric Scott has built a remarkable career as both an artist and sideman, touring internationally and sharing the stage with legends including Aaron Neville, Mavis Staples, Ray Charles, Roger Waters, Tom Morello, Little Feat, and Billy Corgan. His original music has appeared across major television networks and films, and his voice has been featured in national ad campaigns for brands ranging from Nat Geo to Ford and Jeep. A 15-time Wammie Award winner, Scott is a respected force in the D.C. music scene.
His “Modern Soul” sound blends infectious pop hooks with groove-driven R&B, funk, and thoughtful, socially aware songwriting. Anchored by a gospel-soaked voice and a deep rhythmic pocket, Eric’s music is funky, uplifting, and deeply human. A passionate, high-energy performer, this debut trio performance promises an evening of soul, groove, and connection — not to be missed.
Performing with Eric will be Dan Leonard on guitar and Deren Blessman on drums.
Dinner and full bar service available all evening.
