Callanish
— —
Join us for a lively St. Patrick’s Day celebration with Callanish, a beloved Celtic band based in central Pennsylvania, performing Irish and Scottish music in the traditional style. Their repertoire spans energetic jigs and reels, haunting airs, and rollicking songs from Ireland, Scotland, and across the British Isles.
Formed in 2001 by members of the Scottish band Ceol Binn in Lemont, Pennsylvania, Callanish emerged when the founders of Ceol Binn retired to Canada. The remaining musicians regrouped under the name Callanish and expanded their sound to include both Scottish and Irish traditions—bringing depth, joy, and authenticity to every performance.
The band features:
Patty Lambert — wooden flute, whistle, concertina
Betsy Gamble — fiddle, viola, pipes
Cate Fricke — vocals
Holly Foy — guitar, bouzouki, banjo
Dinner and full bar service will be available all evening at Pine Grove Hall.
