🎄 A Charlie Brown Christmas — Live Jazz with The Rick Hirsch 4

Come listen to the iconic music from the Charlie Brown Christmas soundtrack performed live! You’ll hear Vince Guaraldi’s timeless classics — along with other beloved holiday tunes — interpreted by Central PA’s own Rick Hirsch 4.

This 75-minute show has been an annual favorite at the State Theatre since 2017, always selling out quickly. We’re thrilled to present it for the second year on the Pine Grove Hall main stage.

The Rick Hirsch 4 is one of Central PA’s most beloved jazz groups. Each member is an accomplished musician, and together they bring musical chemistry that feels absolutely magical.

About the band:

Bob Hart (bass) has toured and recorded with Kat Edmonson, Van Dyke Parks, and Deborah Harry. Locally, he performs with Zeropoint Big Band, Ady’s Latin Band, and Pure Cane Sugar.

Rev. Dr. Kevin Lowe (drums) has been Central PA’s favorite drummer for 15+ years, also performing with Zeropoint and Ady’s Latin Band.

Clay Wulbrecht (piano), a graduate of Indiana University’s Jacobs School of Music, is a dynamo whose creative energy never runs dry.

Rick Hirsch (saxophone) has performed with Max Roach, Tito Puente, The Temptations, and The Four Tops, and is a respected local educator and performer.
