Our monthly Writers’ Round showcases multiple writers/artists on stage at the same time, each playing one song going "AROUND" until 3, 4, or five "rounds" have been completed. They'll present new and sometimes not even fully completed songs. It's an intimate evening that you won't want to miss.
MATT JACOBS is a musician, videographer, and filmmaker who grew up in Bellefonte, PA, and recently graduated from Penn State University with a major in film production and a minor in photography. He taught himself to play guitar in the 10th grade and has been playing ever since.
KEVIN BRIGGS is a local roots musician who plays guitar and mandolin, and also sings. His sound is rootsy and is reflective of classic genres of American music, with an ever-present option to depart into the unknown.

With a sound rooted in country/folk including The Band, Grateful Dead, and America combined with more contemporary alternative rock such as Wilco, Pinegrove, and Slaughter Beach Dog, FORRESTER GREY approaches songwriting in the style of Midwest emo/alt-rock accompanied by classic blues, Americana and country instrumentation.
