The Mijangos - Griffin ensemble is formed by the seasoned Mexican pianist and composer Jose Mijangos, alongside his son Alex Mijangos, a graduate student and bass teaching assistant at Penn State, who adds depth and complexity to their songs. Also contributing is the boundless energy and dynamism of drummer Justin Griffin, who has adopted Latin rhythms as his second musical language.
