The quartet promises an electrifying performance of straight-ahead bebop and hard bop jazz, capturing the essence of the genre's rich history while incorporating modern influences from contemporary jazz giants like Eric Alexander, Steve Davis, and Roy Hargrove. Having previously performed at venues including the Montreux Jazz Festival, Lincoln Center, and Jazz a Vienne, Penn State Jazz TA Gabriel Herrera (trombone) is delighted to return to Pine Grove Hall with some of Happy Valley's finest musicians: Bob Hart (guitar), Alex Mijangos (bass), and Cade Werner (drums).
