This is the second of four events in our 2024 Winter Retrospective Music Series focusing on music and musicians and their moments of impact on American culture.

DICK BOAK, master luthier, was for decades the public face of C. F. Martin & Co. Among many hats worn, Dick established and curated the Martin Guitar Archives and Museum, and worked directly with hundreds of artists including Eric Clapton, Paul Simon, Jimmy Buffett, Tom Petty, Steve Miller, Joan Baez, Johnny Cash, Willie Nelson, John Mayer, and Sting in designing to their specifications Signature Edition Martin acoustic guitars.

CRAIG THATCHER is a musical artist and International Clinician/Ambassador for Martin Guitars. Craig’s performance resume includes Buddy Guy, Jimmie Vaughan, Duke Robillard, The Fabulous Thunderbirds, Jonny Lang, Dicky Betts, Marty Stuart, Roseanne Cash, Roger McGuinn, Laurence Juber, John Mayer, David Bromberg, and Steve Miller among many others.
