After spending his collegiate career in New York City performing at venues like Lincoln Center and Smalls Jazz Club, Gabriel Herrera returns to his hometown of State College to lead a quartet with Happy Valley heavyweights Clay Wulbrecht, Bob Hart, and Kevin Lowe.

The quartet will be bringing two sets to Pine Grove Hall, steeped in the tradition of both contemporary and venerable jazz artists such as Emmett Cohen, Ryan Kisor, Fats Navarro, and Lockjaw Davis.
