"Sixty Years After... A Retrospective" | Hosted by Larry Boggess with guest Kevin Briggs

The first in a series of four evenings of discussion and performance focusing on musicians from the 1960’s and their moments of impact on American culture.

Dylan’s earliest material (the albums Bob Dylan 1962 through Nashville Skyline 1969), influenced folk, rock, and country music. The mood in modern day America is unsettled and so was the mood in the 1960’s when Dylan arrived in New York City. Dylan’s earliest songs are timeless on their own and relevant to how we understand modern American society and culture. Host Larry Boggess and special guest Kevin Briggs will play a curated selection of Dylan’s early work and comment on the songs, their meaning, and impact on today.

Doors open at 5pm. Presentation begins at 6pm. Event is upstairs. Not handicapped accessible. Full bar and our casual fare menu available all evening.
