Ken Baxter and Molly Countermine

Pine Grove Hall

Ken Baxter is a singer songwriter and published author with a heartfelt story to tell. Adept at both guitar and piano, this New England transplant writes from the heart, whether it be from his award winning album "Blink of an Eye" or his current work, the sound track to his book "The Philosophy of Arson." Baxter is at home on the large stage producing the local Philosophy of Hope concerts for the Jana Marie Foundation which just won an International Telly Award and was filmed at the Pine Grove Hall.

Ken is joined by Molly Countermine, a staple of the State College music scene since 1998. She is a founding member of local bands Maxwell Strait and Pure Cane Sugar, in addition to performing regularly with Ted McCloskey and the Hi-Fi’s and Eric Ian Farmer. Her versatility as a musician is evident in the eclectic nature of the gigs she plays, from acoustic originals to rock ’n’ roll. $8 cover
